Childcare Vouchers

If either or both parents pay income tax and National Insurance you will be able to save money on nursery fees by making use of the childcare voucher scheme – please ask our nursery manager for more details. The exact amount is dependent on tax levels and on whether one or two parents are able to make use of the voucher scheme.

Nursery Grant / Funding

All children between the ages of 3 (from the term following your child’s third birthday) and 5 are eligible to receive Nursery Funding (for up to 15 hours of childcare per week), which will reduce your monthly fees. The nursery will claim the funding on your behalf and deduct it from your monthly fees.

Working Families Tax Credits

The Working Families Tax Credit provides extra help to those parents in lower paid work with dependent children if they work a minimum of 16 hours per week. The childcare element of the Working Families Tax Credits can pay up to 70% of the cost of registered childcare up to a maximum of £135 per week for 1 child and £200 for 2 or more children. Brambly Hedge Day Nursery is in Castleford, near Pontefract, Methley and Normanton. The nursery is within easy reach of the M1 and Junction 31 of the M62 (5 minutes away) and A1 networks.
